Recently, a delegation of five led by Mr. Zhao Weizong, Chairman of Board, CRRC (Shijiazhuang) Co Ltd visited SITI. Mr. Shi Qian, vice president of SITI, Mr. Zong Yuwei, vice chief engineer, Ms. Shen Chun, director of comprehensive office, Mr. Ding Zhigang, vice director of information and communication department, and relevant staff of SITI participated the meeting.

Mr. Shi Qian accompanied the delegation to visit the Jinqiao Base of SITI in the morning, and Mr. Kong Fanrong, director of SITI’s Public Space for Group Innovation accompanied them to visit the Public Space at Yangpu District. Through the visits, the delegation understood the R&D capacity and scientific achievements of SITI’s Flexible Display Technology Platform, Intelligent Transportation Engineering Center, non-glass 3D vision transfer technologies, big data and cloud technologies, etc. and have had direct perception on the “4 in 1” applied innovation system of “R&D + trial production + industry + capital” at the Public Space for Group Innovation.

During the meeting, Mr. Zhao Weizong, Chairman of Board, CRRC (Shijiazhuang) Co Ltd, expressed his great interest and high appraisal towards SITI’s position of “third baton”, the concept of generic technology R&D, achievement transfer and commercial model innovation, as well as the model of innovating together with clients. He also expressed his hope to strengthen communication with SITI and that SITI could deploy its strategic development at Shijiazhuang so that the two sides could collaborate in relevant fields. Mr. Shi Qian also expressed the willingness to strengthen communication with CRRC and propel collaborations by orienting towards the needs of CRRC and docking of resources from the two regions.
