On June 28th, 2017, the Industrial Big Data Technology Salon and Book Launch for Industrial Big Data: Architecture and Application was held successfully. The event was organized by SITI, assisted by Bao Xin Software Co., LTD, and Transwarp Technology(Shanghai ) Co., Ltd, and supported by Shanghai Big Data Allianc. Mr. Zheng Shuquan, Director of R&D Center for Engineering Application of Data, Mr. Dong Wensheng, General Manager of R&D Department of Bao Xin Software Co., LTD, Mr. Chen Xiaoyong, Technical Director of Transwarp Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, and Dr Qin Haihuan of Shanghai Dianji University attended the salon.

In the first session, Mr. Zheng Shuquan, Director of R&D Center for Engineering Application of Data, presented the architecture of industrial big data combined with China's national conditions and integrated with advanced theory and experience of other countries, with analysis from three perspectives. Based on this architecture, R&D Center for Engineering Application of Data has accomplished applications in bridge health monitoring and maintenance platform construction. Then Mr. Dong Wensheng, General Manager of R&D Department of Bao Xin Software Co., LTD, combining the characteristics of his company, introduced the feature and the challenge of process industry and how they used big data to upgrade to service plus manufacturing industry. Later, Mr. Chen Xiaoyong, Technical Director of Transwarp Technology(Shanghai ) Co., Ltd, basing on the real cases of his company, offered advice on how to propel the application of industrial big data in manufacturing industry. The final speaker was Dr. Tan from Shanghai Dianji University, who shared typical applications of industrial big data technologies.

In the Q&A session, the 4 invited speakers answered questions posed by participants of the salon, both sides heated by the nice atmosphere. The salon ended with a good success.
