On September 10th, the first “China-Korea (Shanghai) Innovation Policy Seminar” with theme of “Technology Operation New Trends: New Strategies and Models of Propelling Technology Transfer” was held successfully in SAST. President of SAST and SITI Mr. Niu Xiaoming, Vice Director of STEPI Mr. Lee Jungwon and legal representative of Mirae Holdings Mr. Kim Youngho attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

On September 4th, the China-Korea Business Cooperation Forum was held in Shanghai. South Korean President Park Geun-hye attended the Forum and delivered a speech. Chairman of China CCPIT Mr. Jiang Zengwei, The Korea chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Park Yong-man, Vice Mayor of Shanghai Mr. Zhou Bo attended the forum and delivered speeches.

On September 3rd, Director of Health And Industrial Policy Bureau, Korean Ministry of Health & Welfare, Mr. Bae Byeongjun visited SITI with a delegation. President of SITI Mr. Niu Xiaoming attended the meeting.

On September 1st, SITI and Korea Database Agency, Korea Data Industry Association co-organized the Ceremony for Software Free-Sharing of Korean Data Solution. President of SITI and Korea Data Industry Association President Kim Jonghyun attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

On July 30th, SITI organized China-Korea Collaboration Workshop. Mr. Niu Xiaoming, president of SITI, Mr. Shi Qian, vice president of SITI, and relevant cadres attended the meeting.

In order to making better use of the advantages of the international industry-research collaboration of the innovation platform constructed by SITI, and to propel the R&D collaborations between VTT Technical Research Center of Finland and the shipping industry in China, “Collaboration Workshop on Solutions For Ship Industry Noise Control” was held on June 10th, 2015 in the Jinqiao Branch of SITI.

At present, intelligent robots are getting wide attention in the aspects of scientific researches, medical treatment and recovery, special education, etc. SAST and SITI also aim at this area and actively propel communication and collaboration together with KOREA Institute of Science and Technology.
