After SITI successfully won the bidding for projects of “Purchase Service of Pudong New District Public Transportation Information Release System” and “Installation of GPS positioning system and dispatching monitoring management terminals in vehicles for emergency” in the first half of the year, recently the Engineering Center for Intelligent Transportation of SITI won another bidding from the Shanghai Pudong New District Public Transportation Corporation – the project of “Bid Data Analysis Based Public Transportation Network Deployment, Operation Assessment and Optimization”.

The management and optimization of public transportation network is an important part of public transportation planning. This project aims to establish a big data center and construct a big data service platform for Pudong New District Public Transportation, carrying out operation analysis, timetable optimization, risk analysis to realize overall network optimization, scientific capacity deployment, and efficiency enhancement.

The autumn wind has blown cheerful clearness into air, and as the poem singing “joy of seeing waves of grains and heroes walking by wisps of smoke” (by Zedong Mao) , we are looking forward to more harvest of achievements at SITI in this golden autumn.
