On March 12th, 2018, invited by the municipality of Jiande, Mr. Xiaoming Niu, president of SAST and SITI, led a delegation to visit Jiande and held collaboration discussion with municipality of Jiande. Mr. Dinggan Tong, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Mr. Xia Xisheng, Vice Mayor and relevant cadres from the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal departments as well as High Speed Train New Region, attended the meeting. 

On the meeting, Mr. Niu introduced the development ideology of SITI “Open Innovation, Serving Industries” and the recent achievements in the functional platform construction, industrial transfer, talent cultivation, etc. He said that SITI would actively join the technology innovation in the Yangtze Delta area integrating with its own advantages and work closely with the municipality so as to propel the traditional industry upgrading and new industry development.

Mr. Tong expressed his warm welcome towards to the SITI delegation and said that with the implementation of Hangzhou region integration development and Yangtze Riverside Region Development Strategy, Jiande will soon be integrated in the Hangzhou region by the high speed trains. He expressed his hope to strengthen the collaboration with SITI, especially through exchanges between technology teams, industrial development planning and traditional industry upgrading.

On the meeting, both sides also exchanged info about technology achievements, talent policies, industries and technology development in Jiande, etc.
