On March 8th Professor Ha of Pusan National University was invited to SITI for academic exchange activities including giving lectures. Professor Ha is a world famous polymer chemist, fellow of the Korea Academy of Science and Technology and full member of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea. He is also the editor-in-chief of the internationally important academic journal Macromolecule Research.

Professor Ha has made outstanding achievements in the fields of organic - inorganic hybrid materials, nanometer materials, biodegradable materials and functional polymer materials with 440 academic articles and 22 books of monographs or translations published and 18 invention patents authorized.

During the academic communication he presented main scientific problems that needed to be solved and development trends of new nanometer materials. He also took part in the seminar on new nanomaterial R&D cooperation together with the relevant researchers of smart manufacturing of SITI, and after the meeting, visited the flexible display technology platform, technology platform for 3D printing with metals accompanied by the director of the smart manufacturing department, and was particularly interested in the SITI’s self-developed 3D printer with metals.

During this visit Professor Ha signed a cooperation agreement with SITI after a friendly negotiation. Later he will carry out relevant scientific researches as a senior visiting scholar at SITI.
