Michael Yu graduated from Yale University School of Medicine with medical doctor’s degree. Afterwards, he completed his postgraduate training in Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT. Under a famous expert on CKD, professor Stefan Somlo’ instruction, he served at Yale University School of Medicine from 2001 to 2009. In 2012, he founded HILLHOUSE MEDICAL, GENOMICS ALLIANCE for pharmacogenomics , big data analysis and risk prediction of hereditary disease, accurate diagnosis and optimization of treatment plan. GENOMICS ALLIANCE is made up of clinical oncology doctors, molecular pathology doctors and clinical genetic counselors, and owns a leading genetic data interpretation system and audit qualification for clinical reports. The core funders came from Yale University, MD Anderson cancer center and such like famous scientific research institutions. The company laboratory has CLIA and CAP certification.
