On May 11th, the 3rd Silk Road Int’l Exposition and the Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation between East and West China was opened at Qujiang Int’l Conference Center, Xi’an, with theme of “new era, new paradigm, new development”.
The 5 day exposition is an open int’l economy and trade collaboration event, with 1 collaboration pavilion, 4 professional pavilions, and 1 specialty commodity pavilion. And the 4 professional pavilions exhibit high-tech industries including aeronautics and astronautics, electronic information, and intelligent manufacturing.
To actively respond to the national “One Belt One Road” Initiative and the construction of Shanghai as a technology innovation center with global influence, SITI organized a showcase at the exposition with “Smart City” as its theme, with participation of 5 platforms, 5 innovation partners, totally 16 projects. Together they showed typical application cases of such technologies as NB-IoT system, big data technologies and Beidou Positioning technologies in the construction of smart public facilities and smart city.
In its big data area, SITI’s big data observation station shows visualization application of data analysis from various fields, providing government decision making support and visualization services to enterprises by showing enterprise eco-chains from technology, product to market for seeking out problems and market opportunities. Through the data visualization application service cases in the typical industries such as medical, product safety and transportation, visitors at the exposition can clearly understand the significance of large data conveying the meaning of hot spots in various industries, realize deep insight into the complex data set and excavate the value of the data.
The NB-IoT area shows the urban public facility operation and management platform integrating Internet of Lamps, NB-IoT system, and other technologies, devoting to help vertical application enterprises to enter the IoT industry and local governments to realize accurate management of cities.
The smart transportation area shows SITI’s Smart Transportation Center, which applies IoT, Cloud, big data and Beidou navigation technologies to construct cloud platform for a smart and eco-city, providing integrated solutions for transportation operation and supervision departments and municipal administration and supervision departments. Visitors also could see the smart but stop pavilions, passenger flow info collection system and electric car anti-theft system and feel the comfort and convenience provided by smart products.
The smart manufacturing area shows the achievements of SITI in the fields of 3D printing equipment and materials, novel flexible electronic displays, etc. SITI also shows its other achievements from int’l cooperation, propelling of public innovation space and joint achievements with innovation partners.
During the exposition, Mr. Xin Yao, Vice Director of Cooperation and Communication Office, Shanghai Municipality, delegations from Shaanxi Province, Orient Satellite TV, Shaanxi TV and local news media in Shaanxi Province, came to visit the SITI show pavilion. SITI reached collaboration intentions with several provincial science and technology bureaus, universities, scientific research institutes and enterprises. According to the statistics of passenger flow data collection system at the intelligent transportation platform, only the intelligent bus booth has received more than 1900 visitors.
