On June 22th, accompanied by representative of CPC Party School at Guangxi, a delegation of more than 20 cadres at the department and bureau levels from Vietnam paid a visit to SITI. Mr. Shi Qian, Vice President of SIIT and Ms. Shen Chun, Director of Comprehensive Management Office attended the activity.

Mr. Shi Qian accompanied the Vietnamese delegation to the Platform for Flexible Display Technologies, Metal 3D Printing Technology Research and Development, and Engineering Center for Intelligent Transportation. They also visited NB-IoT communication technology platform and learned about its applications in different areas including intelligent street lamps, intelligent river water environment monitoring, smart meters, intelligent transportation, smart parking, intelligent fire control, and intelligent gas. Deeply impressed by the idea of smart city and SITI - SLM250 metal 3D printers, the delegates put forward a lot of questions about the applications of related technologies.

During the following symposium, Mr. Shi Qian introduced the background of SITI’s establishment, its innovation mode and the core ideology of SITI: “Open Innovation and Serving Industries”.

In the end, the Vietnamese delegation expressed their gratitude to the warm reception and detailed introduction and hoped that they could make deeper communications with SITI in the future.
