On Sept. 19th, 2017, SITI organized a smart light salon with Shanghai Unicom. Representatives from trial application companies, incubation platform and relevant industries participated the activity.

On the meeting, representative from Information Communication Dept. of SITI introduced integration and application platform of semiconductor Illumination System with testing and assessment services. The platform has fully monitored and tested all the trial road lamps in Pudong area. The National Semiconductor Illumination Application System Engineering Center did the assessment. Up to now, the overall quality of the trial road lamps is quite good with all the technical parameters in accord with the requirements, so the system as now reached a quite high level in the smart road lamp field.

During the discussion, representative from China Unicom Shanghai Branch Company gave a report on NB-IoT Application in the construction of smart city and the development status of NB-IoT Industrial Application Incubation Platform, which was jointly constructed by SITI and Unicom; representative of Huawei gave a report on up-scale commercialized application of NB-IoT. Participants from enterprises actively proposed their comments and suggestions.
