On August 22nd, Vice Party Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Committee Mr. Yin Hong visited SITI’s Public Space for Group Innovation with a delegation.

Party Committee Secretary and Director of Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau Mr. Zhao Zhuping, Party Committee Secretary of Yangpu District Government, and SITI vice president Mr. Shi Qian accompanied the visit.

Mr. Yin Hong listened to the work report of SITI and Public Space for Group Innovation and visited the areas of “Smart Household System Design”, “Smart Life Product Development” and “Smart Manufacturing Trial Production” and communicated with some innovation teams at the Space.

Mr. Yin Hong said that with the core concept of “Open Innovation and Serving Industries”, SITI makes the Public Space for Group Innovation as a carrier for exploration and formation of “4 in 1” applied innovation system. It helps small and micro startups to pass through their initial entrepreneurship stage, propels generic technology R&D and business model innovation, solves the problems for the missing or key parts in industrial chains and has made great achievements. He also expressed his hope that as the newest function enhancement platform among the China (Shanghai) Entrepreneurs’ Public Training Bases, the Public Space for Group Innovation at SITI should be more open to more entrepreneurs, shortening their R&D cycles and HR cost, and propel the growth of more S&T talents and enterprises.
